Description: One finger pier for loading bulk rocks, salt and limestone.

Anchorage: 1.5 miles S/W seabuoy.
Pilotage procedures: Pilot and Harbormaster can be contacted by VHF Channel 16 and by radiotelephone on 2738Mhz. Pilot boards approximately 2 miles off the port. Accurate ETA is important as pilot must come from Barahona, or about 2 hours away by vehicle.
Pilot station: 1 mile southeast from pier.
Towage: None available.
Working hours: 24 hours a day Mon-Sun.
Equipment: Equipment available for loading limestone and bauxite. Storage: Covered storage for limestone and bauxite only. No open storage available.
Water: There is a pipeline available alongside, but due to low pressure a portable pump is required. Alternatively, fresh water can be supplied by tank truck.
